Blue Da-Buh-Dee-Da-Buh-Die

I gave Ryker a cookie with blue frosting on it. A BYU cookie. Then I went about doing other things and when I looked back at him, I found him covered in blue. His bathwater ended up quite blue as well.


Speaking of BYU cookies,

Tomorrow is the season opener. Brandon suggested to his boss that they have a party at work to celebrate, and she actually agreed. Hence, the BYU cookies. He also showed everyone at the party a video clip to pump them up for BYU football.

Every few days Brandon tells me something like "It's Jake Heaps Day."

You know, 9 days until the season opener, Jake Heaps is number 9. Duh. How very dumb of you.
Today happens to be "Jordan Pendleton Day".

When I tell you that Brandon is excited, I don't think you quite understand.

I realized last night that Brandon gets more excited for BYU football than a child on Christmas Eve. Nothing in this world compares to the excitement/obnoxiousness in our house in the week prior to kickoff. Really it starts several months before, but the heat is on this week. It's insanity around here. Brandon will be sitting at the computer reading articles and watching clips for hours. Sometimes people get up in the night in our house to get a drink of water, and what they find is Brandon on CougarBoard in the middle of the night. Really, most people are on the internet in the night doing bad things, my husband is on CougarBoard.

Brandon's traffic on CougarBoard has probably tripled, if that's even possible. Cougarboard is a weird thing. The other day he referred to me as his "HCBW". It means "hot cougarboard wife". They have their own special language on Cougarboard. Like "NTTAWWT" (not that there's anything wrong with that) and "SGC" (Staley got cut).

These people are freaks.

I am a BYU fan. Brandon is a BYU fanatic. FANATIC. I told him in all seriousness the other day that he has a problem. He laughed and said "NTTAWWT".
