I love the facial expressions on both of these pictures. I cut myself out of this picture. My face was not a happening thing this day.
I don't know what the fascination is with this kid's tongue. People always ask me why he sticks his tongue out all the time. I always say it's because he wants to taste the situation. Or maybe he just wants to lick you.

These are the grandkids on my side, from oldest to youngest.
Sophie has a very beautiful olive skin tone.
Kisses for Daddy. They are very alike, you know, Brandon and Ryker. They both cry over the same things, they both demand being fed at regular intervals, they both require the same amount of attention, and they both like to be held all day.
Nothing is finer than being home with Lover boy. Work is totally manageable when you only have to go two or three days a week. I so look forward to my "Friday" nights when I lay on the couch with Ryker and Brandon and watch a show, thinking how nice it is that I can stay up as late as I want and sleep in as late as I want. Thanks in part to Ryker, who is an amazing sleeper. Then we get up, laze around for awhile, get dressed, go eat lunch with Brandon, and then spend the rest of the day playing. It's the best thing ever. We've got some good things to look forward to also:
1. Eddy Day. This is the 5th Annual Eddy Day extravaganza. We made up Eddy Day when we were first married. It arrives every year on January 24th. Why? Because January sucks the life out of me, and we should have something to celebrate. So we celebrate the greatness of us and give gifts and go to dinner.
2. Brandon's Spring Break. We are going to go on vacation somewhere with our tax return, and we've narrowed down the choices to DisneyWorld or Maui. Or maybe Washington D.C. Or maybe North Carolina. Or maybe Charleston, South Carolina. Or Myrtle Beach. Or the moon. Or in the campground known as the backyard. Ha ha. I don't understand people who don't vacation. My whole life has been spent looking forward to the next place I'm going to visit. Thankfully this is something that Brandon picked up since we've been married. We've been on some amazing trips in the last almost 5 years (yes, we've been married almost 5 years!) because we make vacations priorities. Extra money=vacations. My dream job would be a professional traveler. I would be great at it.
Adios, for now.
