I feel like I haven't really had anything new going on, thus the lack of blogging. I did take Ryker to the park today, but this little kid wiped a huge booger on the bars, and it grossed me out. It's probably still there. We've just been busy with our little routine. Brandon's first Father's Day came and went, and his birthday is coming up next week. He wants to go see BYU play at Ole Miss in September. If I had the money, I would book that trip for him in a heartbeat and give it to him for his birthday present.
Here are some pictures I took of Ryker today. He's going to be ONE next month. I can't even believe it. Here's what he has been up to:
- says Mama and Dada (he says dada way more though)
- he crawls everywhere and pulls himself up to anything
-he chewed the side of his crib and scratched it up
-he loves spaghetti and Otter pops
- he loves going on stroller rides
-he still only has two bottom teeth, but I think he has some coming in on top
- he sleeps 11-12 hours a night
- he saves all his energy for the whole week for when we go to church on Sundays
- he loves to give kisses, but he bites if you kiss for too long
One small side story. I came in from the backyard today with Ryker (because he barfed on me), and I saw a small dark object move in the entryway. I went and looked, just in time to see some nasty black cat dart back into our bedrooms. This is NOT my cat. I have no cats, because I hate cats. We don't have any animals, for the record. I don't even know how he got in. We found him under our bed. David eventually got him out. I tried to flash him with the camera and STUN him, but it didn't work out like I thought it would. Prepare to pay the price, cat, if you come in again!
