Ryker's Birthday and other stuff

 

 Ryker and his best friend/inappropriate-future-cousin-relationship Sophie. They love each other.

 Ryker is an early riser. Sometimes our mornings are lazy.

 I found him in his room like this the other day. I'm glad he had the book facing the right direction. He loves books.

 Yesterday was Ryker's 2nd birthday. I attempted to make an Elmo cake, but he failed to see that it was even Elmo. He had a fun day. We got him Beto's for breakfast (you should see this kid inhale a breakfast burrito), then we took him to Lagoon for awhile, he played all afternoon, and then had a non-birthday-party. I am not into the big birthday party thing, so all we really did was sing to him and eat cake.

 Can you tell how excited he was to be sung to?
