Right. So. All these changes in life! Ahh! First and foremost, I'd like to announce that I'VE ONLY HAD TWO DR. PEPPERS THIS WEEK. It's been a thirsty week. You know how the saying goes: Seven days without Dr. Pepper makes one weak.
Next order of business...we are moving to Nebraska in 36 days!! We are going to be house sitting for the summer for our wonderful, amazing friends (we've adopted them as our Nebraska family, I hope they don't mind!) in Ashland. It's about 20 minutes from Lincoln in a nice little town. In August we will move in to Lincoln. Lots of rentals have waiting lists, so we're hoping that something great comes up before school starts.
Here's what's been happening in our little family:
Brandon: He graduated from Weber State last month and ended his last semester at Weber with a 4.0. He is awesome. He's very much enjoying not being gone 13 hours a day since school has been out. And I've especially enjoyed him being home more. He is a huge help. He loves being with our kids and rough housing with Ryker. Now don't go thinking he's perfect. He always throws his towels on the floor and he is impatient. IMPATIENT. That's why I have to smack him around a bit. Show him who's boss.
Ryker: He is just like Brandon. Things must be done his way and only his way, and if he wants something, he will get it. He's very independent and he likes to tease. He is so sweet and he loves to help in the yard with my dad. He especially likes helping to mow and trim the lawn. He is tech savvy for a little boy. He knows how to get on the iPad and find his own cartoons on Netflix and play his games. He knows all his colors and can sort of count to 5. Ha ha. This week he's starting yelling when music is on, because he thinks he's singing along. It's a little obnoxious.
Hannah: She is almost 9 months old and she is finally a really good sleeper. She loves to babble and laugh at Ryker. She loves to eat spaghetti. This girl can inhale the food. Holy Moses. You can barely get the spoon to her mouth fast enough when she's hungry. She likes to roll around and wiggle and eat things she shouldn't. I can also put her hair into pigtails now. She's super adorable.
Lisa: Now comes the time I sit and stare at the computer for 10 minutes trying to figure out what to write. I lead a very exciting life! I change a lot of diapers! I didn't make the bed today! The pile of clean laundry has been sitting there for 2 days waiting to be folded! I did make cookies the other day, and they were awesome! I can change bed sheets like nobody's business! I bought myself a cast iron skillet! I freaking love waffles!
My man
We went to a baby animal farm one day
Ryker was off-roading with Hannah
Hannah at the famous Valentino's in Lincoln, NE. This was her face when she found out it was a buffet!
We went to Temple Square to see the flowers one day.
Ryker and his cousin Brynn had a great time picking the flowers. Ha.
Ryker and his cousin Sophie
Doesn't every child's grandpa pull them around the neighborhood in a boat?
We went on a camping trip to Zion last week. Let's not lie, Ryker was horrible. I'm never going camping again.
And now, some randomness.

DON'T MOVE!!! Make Brandon commute. I love Hannah's face in the picture at the buffet! You could definitely make money writing your blog. I'll send you a dollar. Will you send it back to me next time I update my blog?
