We went to our first Huskers game! Note: Do not wear a feather boa to a game when it's 97 degrees outside and 8 million percent humidity.
Our pretty baby turned ONE this past weekend.
I cut her some little bangs with my amazing talents.
We went to Holmes Lake and the playground on Labor Day.
Sometimes Hannah must let us know she is not pleased with the situation.
Hannah and her birthday cake from Grandma.
Sometimes I find weird things in the fridge. Like trains.
I made Hannah a birthday cake a couple of days later, even though my mom made her one on Sunday when they were visiting. I've always made Ryker's cake, so I wanted to make her a special little cake as well.
She was very upset about this frosting on her finger.
Here's what's been going on with our little family this past few weeks:
-Brandon started school. I was a little lovesick the first few days he was gone. I felt like a teenage girl. I know, ridiculous right? I just really like being with him. He's been pretty busy. He has to get 16 hours a week at his assistantship, and then has classes on top of that, and then has to get a number of hours observing throughout the semester. Today his day went from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- We have a friendly squirrel in our backyard. Ryker has lovingly named him "Mr. Squirrel", pronounced "Momo Coco". There are lots of squirrels around here, and we see them all over, but I think Ryker believes that "Momo Coco" is the only squirrel in the city and he just follows us around all day.
Well, that's all for now. I've got some Froot Loops calling my name.
