Spring Break Part 2

Here are some pictures from the Disneyland portion of our trip! Let me tell you, having a baby at Disneyland is the way to go. You do what is called a "child swap", and on all the rides that you can't take a baby on, you go get a child swap ticket. One person waits outside while the other person walks through the exit (or the Fastpass line, depending on how nice the ride attendants were), they immediately get on the ride, and then they come out and the other person walks up the exit and gets on the ride. Some attendants were stingy and wanted one of us to wait in the regular line (jerks!), so we'd just go back later when a different attendant was there and get another ticket. Shhh, don't tell anyone. Other times we would go through the single rider entrances and get right on the rides also. We waited in almost no lines the entire time (and it was very busy while we were there, lines were all about an hour long). True, we didn't get to go on a whole lot of rides together, but at least we still got to ride. Ryker was great at Disneyland also. He rode in his stroller and had very few tantrums. He was a trooper.

I'd never been on the "Small World" ride. But it's true, it is a small world, after all.
We went on the Matterhorn with my nephews and laughed hysterically the whole time at their reactions. We also went on it while the fireworks were going one night, and that was really cool.
Ryker slept with me the whole week in the trailer. Spoiled baby.

I show you this picture, because above the spot where you wait for Pirates of the Caribbean, there is a staircase. I noticed at the top of the staircase there is a set of doors. Above the door is written "Disney's Dream Suite". Google it. This is somewhere I must stay before I die.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me!

The Haunted Mansion!

Ryker LOVED the Merry-go-round.

I snapped a picture of us while we were on Thunder Mountain. Attractive, I know.

Brandon did get his beloved lollipop. I wouldn't let him get the big one because it had 170 grams of sugar.

Poor tired baby.

This is at California Adventure. My favorite thing in this picture is Ryker's face. You have to look closely, but he has a funny little smile.

This is Brandon right before take-off on California Screamin'. This is one of my favorite rides, but Brandon got sick on that one and on Space Mountain. What a sissy.
A moment of sadness.
At California Adventure.

Ryker did not care for Duffy the Bear.
We put about 5 stuffed animals in front of him in the store, and he reached for Tigger.
Brandon was unhappy because I kept taking pictures of him.

SunDrop. The gem of the South. We were walking past the 99 cent store and Brandon squealed like a girl when he walked past the window and ran in. We ended up bringing home 10 two-liters of SunDrop.
I'd never been to Tom Sawyer's Island, but it was pretty fun.

My parents, Jonah, Logan, and Ryker.

Eating at Hungry Bear.
On the Winnie the Pooh ride.
