2. I would give almost anything to not have to go back to work (excluding my first born and my body). I envy you that can afford to stay home with your babies.
3. I hate thunder and lightning. It gives me the nervous twitches.
4. We got rid of our TV service recently. Weird at first, but what a difference it has made in our home life.
5. Ryker is the model baby. I kid you not. He only cries when he's hungry and when he's lonely. He has now slept through the night for 2 nights in a row (woo!) and I hate to say this, but I honestly haven't felt sleep deprived since his first week of life. Life is good. (Before you get too down, when I say "through the night", I in no way mean 12 hours, I mean more like 11:00 to 5:30ish, and then goes back to sleep until 8 or 9. I go back to sleep too, for the record. Thank you, Babywise.)
6. I hope that my neurotic fear of SIDS lessens eventually. I force myself to get up every 5 minutes and check Ryker while I can physically stay awake.
7. I think the best and hottest Superman was Dean Cain.
8. I have a bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream with hot fudge every single day. Maybe this is why those 15 pounds are such a problem.
9. Ryker is the loudest baby farter you've ever heard. I've actually had to tell people in church that it was him, not me.
10. I hope Reader's Digest comes today.
11. My husband is the bee's knees.
So when I had to go back to work after Tyler, I ripped so many belt loops off my jeans insisting that they would fit, and I often went to work without my zipper zipped because I was never used to having to button first and then try to get the zipper up. It's terrible.
ReplyDeleteIf you are nursing, it will take a few months, but seriously it all goes away. I actually got incredibly skinny after I had Tyler, but it took a few months.
Good Luck back at work.
