Baby Bear and Temple Square

This is my baby bear. I bought him this little hat and mittens. I laughed for a long time when I tried it on him.

We also went to Temple Square last weekend to see the lights with Kira and Justin. We had a fun time with them. We ate at Five Guys, which was delicious. But I'm starting to think that perhaps the future Christmas-time Temple Square visits are going to dwindle for us. Talk about loads of people and no parking. Anyway, here are some cute pictures we took.

I like this picture because I think that it looks like there is fire behind them.
It wasn't very cold, but it did rain on us.

Ryker stayed really warm in his carseat. That sheepskin cover keeps the heat in like you wouldn't believe.

Here's a little of what's going on lately (even more lately than last week):

Brandon finished this semester of school. Woot! He sold his books back and then we used the money to go out and eat ourselves into a coma.

Our house has yet to be sold. (Just in case you were wondering, ha ha). It has now been for sale for 18 MONTHS. Kill me.

My seasonal sadness has started early this year. It usually doesn't start until January 2nd (which is the worst day of the year, because from there on out there's really nothing to give you hope until spring). I think I need to go to Maui to solve this problem. Ha.

My goal this week is to replace all my blinds with curtains. Brandon kills bugs against the blinds for some reason, and there is not one window that doesn't have at least 3 broken blinds. Don't feel too bad for the blinds though, since they cost me like $3 a piece 3 years ago.

Till next time....

  1. I know so many people, including us, that went to the lights on Saturday. I think EVERYONE had the same idea. Next year, I think we'll pick a weekday to go.
